Eligible families are first reviewed through AssistMyHome’s selection process. Qualified families are then shortlisted and presented for community voting.
How the Program Works
Families Apply
Eligible low-income families submit an application to request consideration for an AssistMyHome Housing Assistance Campaign.
Selection Process
Applications are reviewed using AssistMyHome’s selection process, and qualified families may be shortlisted for community voting, where the public helps choose the next family to be featured in an AssistMyHome Housing Assistance Campaign.
Community Voting
After eligible families are reviewed through AssistMyHome’s selection process, qualified finalists may be shortlisted and presented for community voting, allowing the public to help choose the next family to be featured in a Housing Assistance Campaign. Community voting is one part of AssistMyHome’s overall selection process and is conducted in accordance with the organization’s policies.
Fundraising Campaign
Selected families are presented on AssistMyHome’s website as part of a Housing Assistance Campaign, where the public can contribute in support of the campaign.
Fund Disbursement
Funds received through Housing Assistance Campaigns are disbursed in accordance with AssistMyHome’s policies directly to approved third parties, such as home sellers or escrow companies, to support approved housing-related purposes for selected families. Terms and Conditions apply.
